Neuton CE 5.4 14-Inch 24-Volt Cordless Electric Mulching/Bagging Lawn Mower with Removable Battery
The Neuton CE 5.4 Battery-Powered Mower is the smart choice for small lawns. It is welcome relief from the arm-yanking pull-starts, the fumes, noise, and vibration of a gas lawn mower. Start this 14-inch cut mower with the push of a button and mow for up to 1 hour on a single charge.
Adjust the cutting height from 1.2-inch – 3-inch with a single lever. The 8-inch rear wheels and 7-inch front wheels roll easily over rough terrain. The 500-watt motor doesn’t use gas or oil, it never needs a tune-up, and it runs clean. It produces no pollution or carbon emissions – and the battery is virtually 100% recyclable.
This model is perfect for mowing lawns up to 1/4 acre on a single charge. Unlike other battery mowers with built-in batteries that require you to stop mowing to recharge, if you need more time with a Neuton Mower just drop in an optional spare battery and keep mowing. There’s no need for the hassle of an extension cord. The 3-in-1 Neuton CE 5 Mower comes with everything you need to start mowing: rear grass collection bag, side discharge chute, mulching plug, 240 watt-hour battery, battery charger and safety key.
The optional Trimmer/Edger Attachment eliminates the need for a second piece of equipment and gives your yard and walkways a beautiful, clean finish. At only 48 pounds (including battery) and whisper quiet, the Neuton CE 5.4 is easy on you and the neighborhood. The Noise Pollution Clearinghouse has rated the Neuton Mower the quietest rotary mower you can buy. The battery recharges on about 10 cents worth of electricity – so the Neuton CE 5 is also easy on your wallet. All Neuton Mowers are backed by a 2-year warranty and Neuton’s own customer service technicians, website and live chat.

I purchased the 14” Neuton Mower in 2008 and am well into my 4th season of mowing. The main reason for my purchase is my lawn is less than 1000 sq. ft. and I wanted the lightest mower available so my wife could use it when she wanted to help.
Pros:
1. The battery is the original and still going strong.
2. Light weight.
3. Easy to use; pull the handle bar and go.
Cons:
1. The blade rotation is slow, resulting in poor grass catching capabilities.
2. The wheel base exceeds the width of the blade, and edging must be done separately; I do not have the edging attachment; the lawn does not have a clean finished look after mowing compared to a gas powered mower.
3. Does not cut well in high grass and will not bag in high grass.
Based on the small size of my lawn I do not regret this purchase.
